From 10 to 11 November 2025, in Sarajevo, UN Building, was held 2nd Expert Meeting.

From 8 to 10 July 2025, at its 2nd Steering Committee and 1st in-person expert meeting, UNESCO and United Nations Development Programme - UNDP convened with regional stakeholders and national experts from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.

18 July 2024 DIKTAS II Project 1st Steering Committee meeting was held (online) between the members of the Steering Committee and members of the Secretariat (UNESCO and UNDP) with several important topics and goals, such as the creation of a Workplan for the first year of the project, approval of the PMU location, endorsement of (ToR for) Project Manager, revisitment of DIKTAS II Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis, Communication strategy for DIKTAS II (e.g. logo) and many other ongoing issues.

From 4 to 5 April 2024 in Venice, Italy, UNESCO through its Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe and the Division of Water Sciences of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) convened the DIKTAS II Inception Workshop.
